EQUIPMENT HIRE

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

 

To secure a booking, 20% of the full balance will need to be paid in advance with the minimum payment being £10. This is refundable up to 48 hours before the agreed collection date. Deposits paid for last minute bookings i.e 48hours before the collection date will be refundable in all circumstances. 

On the day of the hire a further deposit of £100.00 will need to be taken on a card, in the form of a Pre Authorisation. This is to cover any loss or damage that might occur when the equipment is in your care. This transaction will be held in your account for the duration of the hire. Once cancelled it will appear in your account again within 3-­5 working days. Please note that you will liable for a maximum of £250.00 should any loss or damage incurred, exceed the £100.00 deposit.

.In addition we also require a form of photo ID such as passport or drivers license and a proof of address (utility bill or bank statement from the last 3 months).

All hires run on a 24 hour duration from the time you come to collect. Any late returns will be charged to the deposit.

Please read through the following terms and conditions before coming to collect the hire:

THE HIRER will, during the period of the hire, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from any damage however slight, of any sort, and the behaviour of all persons of all ages using the equipment, whatever their capacity.

THE HIRER shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hire agreement, and shall not sub­hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way.

THE HIRER is liable for the full repair or replacement cost should any damage or loss occur.

THE HIRER shall be deemed to have inspected the equipment and to have agreed that it was supplied in good condition unless he/she brings it to the attention of Brighton Electric when it is collected.
